To put it succinctly, being a parent is one of the hardest, most rewarding things a person can do.
It's not for everyone, that's for sure. I didn't think it was for me. I had made my mind up that I didn't want to have a kid. I didn't think there was anyway I could even do a halfway decent job. But now, if I didn't have Mahaby I don't know where I'd be. I'm not saying I'm the World's Best Dad, but I'm trying. I'm lucky, I have a lot of help.
I love telling people about my kid. I feel obnoxious about it. So what is the obvious thing to do? Well start a blog of course. This way people I don't even know can keep up with what Mahaby is doing. God that seems bizarre.
Anyway, here it is. Hopefully the reading will be almost as much fun as being there.
